In the afternoon of September 9, President Rajoelina of the Republic of Madagascar, who came to China to attend the Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, and his delegation visited the Zoomlion Smart Industrial City Earthmoving Machinery Park to learn about enterprise intelligent manufacturing, construction machinery, agricultural machinery product research and development. He inquired about the performance of the products, including horsepower, and praised high-end intelligent products such as high-power tractors, seedling throwers, and rice transplanters.
It is reported that Madagascar is located in the western Indian Ocean, facing the African continent across the Mozambique Channel. It is the largest island in Africa and the fourth largest in the world. The country's economy is mainly based on agriculture, with agriculture accounting for over 80% of the total population and 70% of export revenue coming from agriculture. Currently, Madagascar is focusing on improving its agricultural modernization and industrialization level, and building an "African granary". The pragmatic cooperation between China and Malaysia has yielded fruitful results, with the hybrid rice project being the golden signboard of cooperation between the two sides. The planting area and yield have ranked first in Africa, forming a full industry chain of "breeding, planting, and processing".
