He took the initiative to find ways to make more than 30 pieces of tooling such as hydraulic winch, power head assembly, drill frame assembly, and wire rope mounting frame, which are applied in production.

This year, XCMG's first and largest modular drilling rig XSM1800 was designed for the first trial production. In the face of the problems that the luffing pin shaft of the brand-new drilling rig can't be installed and the chamfer angle of the top drive support shaft is small, everyone seems unable to do anything.
"What are you afraid of? Don't do it. XSM1800 will always be a drawing!" Yan Universe took the lead in setting an example. Under his leadership, he temporarily set up a trial-production team on site. He stayed up late at night to study drawings and assembly technology, and led the team to explore assembly during the day. From the prototype to the elaborate work, to the step-by-step debugging to the optimal performance, he took everyone to emancipate their minds and practice boldly, and finally realized the off-line of products from design drawings to super equipment.

One day at noon, Yan Huanyu was having dinner in the company canteen when his wife called by video phone, saying that she hadn't seen his son for several days and missed him.
