At the meeting, President Wang Ruixiang first delivered a speech entitled "Unify thoughts and gather strength to ensure the realization of the 14th Five-Year Plan for the machinery industry". In the first year of the "14th Five-Year Plan", President Wang emphasized the importance of organizing the preparation and release of the five-year plan of the industry, and expounded the significance of launching special topics. Three suggestions are put forward on how to implement the 14th Five-Year Plan of the machinery industry: First, improve the standing position, build consensus and lay a solid ideological foundation. Xin Guobin emphasized that in the next five years, the machinery industry should take the "14th Five-Year Plan" as the guide and make every effort to promote the high-quality development of the machinery industry.
