To meet the challenges, the developed economies such as the United States, Japan and Germany have implemented advanced manufacturing plans with the new generation of network information technology as the core driving force in order to seize the commanding heights in the future development. Since China officially connected to the Internet in 1994, it has raised the development of digital economy into a national strategy, and has successively put forward several opinions such as speeding up the development of e-commerce and promoting the "internet plus". Digital economy, such as online education, internet medical care and online office, has spawned new formats, new models and new consumption. Digital economy has become the most active field in China's economic development and a new kinetic energy to promote development.
Luo Huanghao, deputy mayor of Dongguan Municipal People's Government, pointed out in his speech that digital economy, as a new economic form leading the future, is not only a new variable for central enterprises to improve quality and efficiency, but also a new blue ocean for the high-quality development of equipment manufacturing industry. Dongguan is based on manufacturing industry, and equipment manufacturing industry is one of the five pillar industries in Dongguan, which is second only to electronic information industry in scale and volume. Since this year, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry has grown rapidly. However, the global market competition is becoming increasingly fierce. On the one hand, enterprises need to innovate and develop, open up markets, and on the other hand, they need to improve their internal efficiency. Digital transformation has become an important part of enterprise transformation. Therefore, Dongguan has issued corresponding incentive policies, introduced superior digital resources, and guided enterprises to accelerate transformation and upgrading. For the first (set) key technical equipment in Dongguan, the maximum subsidy amount is 5 million yuan; The maximum subsidy for intelligent transformation projects is 4 million yuan, and the maximum subsidy for intelligent manufacturing demonstration projects is 8 million yuan.
President Wang Ruixiang pointed out that under the guidance of national policies, China's machinery industry has vigorously promoted the deep integration of the two industries and the digital transformation of the industry, developed new industries such as artificial intelligence, and achieved positive results in various fields. Data show that from January to August this year, the added value of machinery industry increased by 16.2% year-on-year; The accumulated operating income of the whole industry was 16.2 trillion yuan, up 23.07% year-on-year; Total profit reached 1 trillion yuan, up 20.65% year-on-year. At the same time, a number of digital factories, intelligent workshops, and new digital formats and models are constantly emerging. Digital economy is becoming a new engine to lead the machinery industry to achieve high-quality development. To this end, President Wang Ruixiang put forward three suggestions: to assess the situation and enhance the sense of urgency to accelerate the digital transformation; Focus on shortcomings, promote digital transformation and continuously achieve practical results; Strengthen integration and create a new model of digital transformation linkage.
