Recently, Xu Gong Hanyun signed a contract with Guixi Smelter of Jiangxi Copper Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangxi Copper Guixi Smelter") again, and Xu Gong Hanyun will provide a set of online detection standards for thickness and verticality of starting pieces for Jiangxi Copper Guixi Smelter, and build a large database of thickness and verticality of starting pieces to model and analyze and optimize the production process.


Jiangxi Guiye, with an annual output of over one million tons of cathode copper, is the largest production base of copper, sulfur chemicals and rare and precious metal products in China, and the first copper smelting plant in the world with a single cathode copper output exceeding one million tons.


As early as 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology selected 63 units nationwide as pilot demonstration enterprises of intelligent manufacturing implementation scheme, and Jiangxi Copper Guiye became the only pilot demonstration factory of intelligent manufacturing in copper smelting industry.


In 2018, Jiangtong Guiye entrusted Xu Gong Hanyun to build an intelligent stripping unit for starting sheets, which is the first automatic stripping unit in China. After the unit is put into use, the automatic data collection rate is close to 100%, the quality information is digitized, the production information is visualized, and the decision analysis such as optimizing the production process and capacity statistics of Jiangtong Guiye is more accurate and convenient.


In this signed project, aiming at the detection of verticality and thickness of the starting plate after processing and the application of big data after detection, the verticality and thickness of the starting plate not only affect the quality of electrical copper, but also have a great relationship with the unit power consumption, which also has an important impact on the stability of the operation. Previously, Jiangxi Copper Guiye mostly relied on manpower to detect the starting pieces, and the accuracy was difficult to guarantee. Xu Gong Han Yun developed an automatic detection system for Jiangxi Copper, which realized automatic detection of verticality of the starting sheet through 3D vision, breaking through the difficult problem of starting sheet detection, and was the first in the industry.


Xu Gong Hanyun's R&D team achieved three core technological breakthroughs through technological breakthroughs:


The thickness of the starting plate is automatically measured by the laser sensor, and the measurement accuracy can reach 0.05 mm. The leveling machine is automatically adjusted in real time by the system, thus realizing the closed-loop control of leveling with high precision.


A shading and dust-proof room is installed in the middle of the starting piece elevator, which is equipped with 3D vision module and buffer block, etc. The buffer block is used to reduce the shaking of the starting piece and ensure the measuring state of the starting piece. The vision module calculates the data of the detection points and obtains the verticality. Through digital-analog analysis, the automatic adjustment of the fine leveling machine is realized, and the optimal fine leveling is achieved.


After analyzing and sorting out the verticality, thickness and leveling roller gap of the starting plate, through modeling and analysis, find out the relationship between them, and according to the analysis results, give suggestions for adjusting the processing parameters of the unit, or automatically adjust the processing parameters, so as to realize the automatic adjustment of the finishing leveler and optimize the production.


After the implementation of the project, it will significantly improve the automation, lean, efficient, digital and intelligent level of electrolytic copper production, and further enhance the industry competitiveness of Jiangxi Copper Group.


In April, 2020, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Network promulgated "Guidelines for the Construction of Intelligent Processing Plants in Nonferrous Metals Industry (Trial)", which proposed to carry out digital and intelligent transformation of equipment, improve the automation rate of production lines, develop the application of complete sets of intelligent equipment, and realize digitalization, networking and fewer people in factories, thus laying the foundation and setting the tone for the digital upgrade of the whole industry. Xu Gonghanyun will take Jiangxi Copper as the starting point, and extend the scope of digital transformation to the upstream and downstream enterprises in the nonferrous metal industry chain, so as to realize intelligent, digital and precise production.
