The 8th National Sand and Stone Aggregate Industry Science and Technology Conference was held in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. How do you think sandstone industry should do a better job of "peak carbon dioxide emissions and Carbon Neutralization"?
A: Doing a good job of "peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality" will guide the future direction for equipment manufacturing enterprises, which requires us to develop in a more efficient and energy-saving direction. Previously, there was only one consideration when making strategic decision-making, that is, how to minimize the overall cost of customers and maximize the benefits. With the implementation of the "double carbon" goal, especially the carbon trading right, I think it is more important to reflect on the whole sandstone industry chain level, because the asymmetry or ambiguity of information leads to waste or mismatch of resources, which is not conducive to the long-term stable development of the industry.
Therefore, "double carbon" is of great significance to the development of sand and gravel aggregate industry. The measures of "peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality" not only give us a direction, but also bring us new challenges and opportunities. It is by no means just a slogan. We can think and understand this problem from the perspective of scientific and technological innovation. Q: General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized to accelerate the construction of major national projects and infrastructure. At present, there is a risk of cut-off supply of natural sand in China. Can machine-made sand bear the heavy responsibility? Please talk about the problems to be solved in the development and utilization of machine-made sand and the future development of machine-made sand.
A: Many experts' reports at the Eighth National Science and Technology Conference on Sand and Aggregate Industry also discussed this issue, among which Professor Song Shaomin said that the future must be the development trend of machine-made sand as the main body, supplemented by natural river sand and lake sand. At present, there are mainly problems that the technology is discussed too much, but it can't be popularized well. There is also a short board that restricts and restricts the development of manufactured sand, that is, its industrial chain is long and opaque, and there are many participants in sand and gravel from production to transportation to mixing station. Especially in the Yangtze River Delta, most of them are transported by ship, from big ships to small boats, and then distributed to docks. The whole chain is very long, and a core problem in this process is that the process is complicated and the circulation links are opaque. What problem will this bring? There may be cases where bad money drives out good money. At present, sand has neither brand nor strict quality supervision and certification in the market. In this process, it has gone through several hands, so it is unclear whether every link has a guarantee for its quality.
I am very optimistic about the current equipment and technology for producing manufactured sand. The bottleneck at present is how to make the circulation of a larger quantity more transparent through various forms. As long as this thing is done well, everyone will spontaneously pursue higher quality. We also know the use mode of machine-made sand in railway system and highway system, because they have relatively closed and transparent sand production and circulation links, so the quality of machine-made sand in key projects can be guaranteed. I expect that there will be some new technologies and models in the future, especially new applications (models) of railway and highway systems. If these models are popularized, I am full of confidence in solving the problem that the machine-made sand cannot be universally recognized at present.
Q: "Green mine construction" has always been a hot topic. In 2020, some provinces have successively issued new standards for green mine construction. What breakthrough achievements have Shibang Group made in green mine construction?
A: Actually, the achievements are not mentioned, because green mine is a very rich connotation, and green mine is by no means a green mine, but behind it is a better ecological construction.
As far as Shibang is concerned, we always keep in mind the ecological construction. When Shibang makes any decisions, including recommending corresponding solutions to customers, it is very important that we put green mine construction at the highest level in terms of thinking or considering the nature of the problem.

A: The 40th anniversary is a very important node. I have participated in the development and evolution of sandstone industry in recent 10 years, and I am very fortunate. At present, the industry needs to pay most attention to sustainable development, which is also the core and key point emphasized in President Hu Youyi's report. Based on the idea of sustainable development, in the 40-year node, we should not belittle ourselves, but also learn from the past excellent (industry) experience, see the current shortcomings, consolidate our internal strength, embrace scientific and technological innovation, and jointly build a better industrial ecology.
I believe that 40 years is only the beginning, and we are not only witnessing the present, but also exploring the future.
