The length of the boom of 205 EC-B 10 is 65m, and its head can be lifted by 2,100kg. Its strength is proved by its maximum bearing capacity of 10,000kg. The new 205 EC-B 10 can run at the maximum load capacity with the maximum boom length radius of 18 meters. In order to achieve accurate site planning and increase flexibility, the boom can be segmented into 2.5 meters.
The new Liebherr tower crane is impressive because of its compact design: only four transport units can be used to transport the rotating part together with the complete boom and ballast. As the transport unit is not used at full capacity, there is also available space for the tower part or central ballast. In addition, the proven Pickaback system is used for anti-boom transportation, and it takes only a few lifts to realize efficient, safe and economical assembly.
Easier to assemble
205 EC-B 10 has more advantages in processing. When assembling the upper part of the crane, the slewing platform is connected with the boom and the auxiliary arm by sliding pin, so hammering is no longer needed. This not only ensures the safety, but also greatly improves the economy and convenience of crane assembly.
The 205 EC-B 10, launched in June 2021, is equipped with a 45 kW lifting device, which can achieve the best balance between transportation speed and energy consumption in the construction site. The first batch of new 205 EC-B 10 cranes have been sold in France and Italy.
Equipped with LiCAB cab
When developing new series of products, Liebherr also focused on the comfort of crane operators and the safety of construction sites; The familiar LiCAB cab is once again used as the newest member of EC-B series with its proven and broad vision. From November 2021, the new 205 EC-B 10 will be equipped with a new central control element in the form of multi-touch display TC-OS, which has been successfully installed in the 125 K model.
