China's current "national three" standards are implemented since April 1,2016, the earliest in the United States and Europe in 2006. The implementation time of domestic current emission standard lags behind that of foreign developed countries by about 10 years. Compared with the mature market, it is a big trend to tighten the emission standard gradually, which is the catalyst to stabilize the industry demand, to promote the equipment renewal, to stimulate the demand release of new machines, and to cause the replacement of a large number of machines in use in the market. Technically speaking, China's implementation of the "national four" standard lags behind developed countries by 11 years. The engine technology reserve for national four emissions by engine enterprises is perfect and sufficient, especially for high-end engine brands, its product line is more complete and complete, even to meet higher emission requirements. In the "national four" standards fully brewing these years, in fact, engine companies are constantly trying to promote this type of high-standard products. To a large extent, subject to cost-effective reasons, has not been the driving force. But "the country four" the standard implementation, gives the engine enterprise such an opportunity. Speaking from the market, "country four" standard out, "country two" and before the equipment will gradually accelerate the phase out. According to the actual demand of 300,000 excavators in 2020, the number of excavators in our country is close to 2 million, and the number of excavators before the second national congress is more than 1 million. It can be predicted that once the "national four" emission standard is officially implemented, there may be a peak in the centralized exchange of old machines for new ones, which will, to a certain extent, stimulate the centralized sales of inventory machines. How to ensure the stability of the "national four" engine supply, and in the market competition to obtain a larger share of the engine manufacturers will have to face the problem. To some extent, will it cause the engine market pattern to reset? It may be both an opportunity and a challenge for many engine manufacturers. D1CM: What is the technical feasibility of implementing the "national four" standard? Wang Jinxing: engine enterprises, after several years of technical preparation and testing, the technology is already very mature, not to mention the implementation of December 1,2022, there are nearly two years, so the technical level does not have to worry at all. The only thing I need to remind you of is the legal risk, which is what the Engineering Machinery Industry Association and the Department of Ecology and environment have been trying to stress: purchasing, supporting, selling, and clearing inventory, whether for three months or six months, host manufacturers should reserve sufficient transition time to ensure that the equipment on sale before December 1,2022, by "country four" to "country three" complete replacement. If after the time point, there are still "third country" equipment on the market, the host machine manufacturer or engine manufacturer must bear the corresponding legal responsibility, and it is certain that the punishment will be more severe. D1CM: the release and implementation of the new standard, for the engine enterprises will face what new difficulties? Such as technical barriers to research and development and cost control. Wang Jinxing: As early as 2017, whether it is the main engine or the engine companies, has started to solve the technical problems concerning the country's four emission requirements. Many foreign (including joint venture) brands have already reached the Euro IV, or even Euro v Standard Technology Reserve; at present, domestic brand engine post-processing system from the technical point of view, there is not too big problem. But there is a suggestion: engine enterprises must be in close contact with the host enterprise. Generally speaking, the main equipment to transmit data is the host enterprise, such as the engine OBD data, some data parameters of urea quality, the pressure difference of the DPF of the exhaust particulate matter after processing, the temperature of the SCR, etc. , therefore, engine enterprises should take the initiative to communicate with the host enterprises in many aspects of technology, to obtain engine performance parameters, in order to obtain more product improvement advice. D1CM: Hyundai and JCB, including Sany, zoomlion and Weichai Power, are actively distributing hydrogen energy products, and the application of hydrogen energy has gradually shown the competitive situation that you catch up with me, does this indicate that the construction machinery is about to enter the zero emission hydrogen energy era? Construction Machinery hydrogen energy is to follow the trend or just need, how do you interpret? Wang Jinxing: from the current point of view, electrification is one of the development trends of the industry, and the technology is relatively mature. Electric forklifts in the early years has been able to a wide range of commercial, the proportion is also rising, "14th five-year plan" period is expected to more than 50% . Electric loaders and electric excavators are also popular in the market. The hydrogen energy mentioned here, from the point of view of environmental protection, can achieve zero emissions, is a good development direction. But there will be the same problem as fuel delivery: General Construction Machinery can not go to the gas station to refuel, can only be delivered to the site, so how to solve the hydrogen energy supply? The delivery of hydrogen energy will certainly require pressure vessels or pipelines, and the question of how to ensure safety... will need to be explored. Electric cars have been developing much faster than construction machinery over the years, so I personally think that hydrogen energy in the automotive sector will probably grow before construction machinery does. Although the possibility of mass production is not very likely at present, which needs further verification of market demand, policy support and upgrading of related technologies, in any case, the development of zero emissions and new energy sources is the direction of the joint efforts of industry colleagues, it is also the only way to realize "green China" .
